Hola! I’m Khrys.

YOGA THERAPY INTERN | YOGA & MEDITATION TEACHER | STUDIO OWNER

I am a student of yoga and the founder of Hola Yoga Studio. My own yoga journey began in my teens. As a lifelong athlete, my initial pursuit of yoga was to enhance my fitness and I continue to be enthusiastic about yoga as a tool for physical health. Yet several years into my practice, I realized that yoga transcends the physical experience. My advanced studies in Yoga Therapy and Yoga Nidra have deepened my understanding of how yoga can support us through times of difficulty, ultimately leading us to a joyful and purposeful life of deep contentment. Through my practice I have found a sense of wholeness and I believe in yoga’s ability to transform; and regardless of one’s ability, can be practiced by all.

I actively engage in an ongoing inquiry into the complexities of the human experience. I’m committed to unearthing deeper insights and providing valuable yoga tools to help people find peace. I hope to inspire students and clients to find meaning in yoga beyond the physical postures and instead see it as a way of living skillfully.

I began my training over a decade ago and I am an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) through Yoga Alliance. I am a Yoga Therapy Intern pursing certification through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT). I am currently studying Yoga Nidra with Richard Miller (iRest Level II). Additionally, I hold two Bachelor’s degrees from Boston University in Philosophy and Spanish Language & Literature.

Prior to my training as a yoga teacher I worked for several years in recruiting and professional development. During this time, I had the privilege of working with corporate professionals from all over the world. These early career experiences nurtured my deep interest in working with organizations to apply yoga and meditation as a workplace solution.

I am a travel, food, and road cycling enthusiast. I find great joy as a wife, mother-to-be, and dog-mom.
